Sailfish Open water swim.

Today at the Sailfish open water swim Lanzarote we had 8 of our team members racing in the different distances on offer.


In the Dolphin category, a 400m race, Dominik Ivančík exceeded his own expectations by finishing 2nd overall in a competitive race. Congratulations Dominik.
Matias Pardon Miguelez just home from a week long school trip battled strong to the finish and came 4th in a close battle with old team mate Israel Calero.
Tom Rowe came top 8 in this competitive field, well done Tom.



In the Shark category, an 800m race, Sidney Nugent also just home after a week long school trip swam confidently through out and came 2nd, Becky not far behind in 3rd place! Well done girls on your podium finishes today.



In the 1.9km the race was won in 23 minutes 42 seconds by Oscar Martin Lemes, Harry Holdaway came 6th overall in a time of 26 minutes. 
It was great to see Alfonso Tejera Toledo motivated for the summer of swim races and starting here today at the Sailfish open water swim, Alfonso came 31st overall in a time of 32 minutes 29 seconds.


Sergio Cuéllar Betancort raced the 3.8km swim, Sergio is doing his final preparations for Ironman Lanzarote next week and he swam excellent in his first ever 3.8km swim race in a time of 1hour 9 minutes. This was the perfect preparation for your race next week Sergio!
